It is our hope that throughout the country, Sabbath of Domestic
Peace coalitions can develop to encourage clergy to confront
this difficult problem in their faith communities and houses of
worship. Please feel free to use
all of the resources in this site to do so in your community.
Contact us for a free copy of our booklet Making Changes,
Bringing Hope for distribution in your community.
Also, our founder,
SaraKay
Smullens, published an article in Annals, the
peer-reviewed journal of the American Psychotherapy Association,
which details and highlights how our coalition was brought
together and our community was involved in this effort. You can
download this article by

Above all, encourage the leader of your
religious community to address the malignant problem of domestic
violence and abuse from the pulpit. Encourage discussion groups
and forums within your community where this problem is openly
discussed.
If you would like to discuss any of these
organizational issues with a member of our coalition, please
contact us by postal mail at:
